It was a scientific invention that made the art of plays into a non perishable, memorable, repeatable & unforgettable mean.  That was a medium that could preserve the one time production for lifetime & even after that and could be played even after the artists are no more in the world. Amazing invention. Imagine how we know a 50 years old films, their stars, stardom their formats of living, film making etc just by the mean of cinema. It was not only to enjoy but it made the artists of that time unforgettable & immortal. It provided a strong platform for the next generations to learn from the work of their seniors even when they are not in the world. That’s too through a visual medium that is much more appealing & effective to the eyes. Else how would we know our ancestral stars like Raj Kapoor, Prithviraj Kapoor, Hrishikesh Mukherji, RD Burman, SD Burman, Sohrab Modi, Ashok Kumar, Suraiya, Madhubala, Nargis, Nutan, Gurudatt, Nirupa Rai, Kishore Kumar etc as we have never ever seen then but still we can witness their talents, the cinematic scenario of that time etc. Today Tom Cruise, Julia Roberts, Cameroon, Brad Pitt, Cameroon, Spielberg, Angelina Jolie, Naomi Watts, Kate Winslet, Johny Depp, Ben Stiller, Tom Hanks, Adam Standler, Daniel Radcliff, Robert Downey, George Clooney  from Hollywood & Amitabh Bachan, Shahrukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Salman Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor, Katrina Kaif, Sanjay Dutt, Sunny Deol, Dilip  Kumar, Shakti Kapoor, Akshay Kumar, Govinda, Mithun Chakraborty, Bipasha Basu, John Abraham, Aishwarya Rai, Sushmita Sen, Pooja Bhatt, Mahesh Bhatt, Vikram Bhatt, Ajay Devgan, Kajol, Hritik Roshan, Priyanka Chpra, Deepika Padukone, Akshay Khanna, Saif Ali Khan, Mallika Sehrawat, Arshad Warsi, Shilpa Shetty, Rajnikant, Chiranjeev, Venkatesh, Manoj Tiwari and many others are glitters  of our  eyes because of Cinema. The award function would invite people from the cinemas across the world.  Stars from Bollywood, Tollywood, Hollywood, etc would be invited for this wonderful, grand & glittery night and the contributors to this wonderful world would be honored by the virtue of the Trophy that is specifically designed for the cinemawood awards in a mesmerizing structure.

Talent is unlimited across the world but the true recognition & honor of this talent is more important than actually having the talent. Cinemawood wants to take a step towards including even those who have given their best to the Indian cinema but were never recognized by their lovers.  These awards would be the professionals who have been working for the cost effective ventures but often get lost into the glitter of grand cinema projects that are produced involving the best of the cinema professionals & huge budgets. We here at Cinemawood want to recognize even the hidden talent along with the known. We want to honor the professionals along with stars.

The Indian Diaspora consists of millions of Indians overseas for which films are made available both through mediums such as DVDs and by screening of films in their country of residence wherever commercially feasible. These earnings, accounting for some 12% of the revenue generated by a mainstream film, contribute substantially to the overall revenue of Indian cinema, the net worth of which was found to be US$1.3 billion in 2000. Music in Indian cinema is another substantial revenue generator, with the music rights alone accounting for 4–5% of the net revenues generated by films in India.
